These are some pics of Hanna, my roomie, her parents, and I in Trier! It's the oldest city in Germany that was founded by the Romans! Cute little city w/ great churches and a couple buildings remaining from the Roman Empire. Decent shopping, too, as things in Germany are MUCH cheaper here than in France, so grabbed a pair of ankle leather boots for winter here and some misc other things, and even bought tea from a well-known tea place! Overall, great day! And I definitely appreciated Hanna's very kind parents who also tried very hard to speak English w/ me the whole day, as they don't speak any French. :) Glad I went! (Sorry for the random pic of my other friend Ali reading a kid's book...that was another trip...)

New Undergraduate Journal Website!!
So, for those of you who know that I am taking part in the publishing of one of Madison's most amazing undergraduate journals this semester, Journal of Undergraduate International Studies (JUIS) to be exact, we have an AWESOME new website up with all the information you could ever want to know, including a staffer biography page, as well as past issues!
